Our Customer is the most important person in our business. Our Customer is not dependent upon us – we are dependent on the customer. Our customer is not an interruption of our work; but the purpose for it. Our
Customer honors us when they call upon us. We are not doing the Customer a favor by serving him/her.  Our Customer is part of our business, not an outsider. Our Customer is our guest. Our Customer is not a cold tatistic, but flesh and blood: a human with feelings and emotions like our own. Our Customer is not someone to argue with or match wits with. Our Customer is the one who brings us his/her needs or wants. Our job is to  fulfill them. Our Customer deserves the most courteous and attentive treatment we can provide. Our Customer has the right to expect an employee to present a neat, clean, appearance.  I wish I could take credit for the above, but this was given to me years ago at a seminar I attended. It is titled the “Customer Ten Commandments” (no author mentioned). So simple, but yet so powerful. Each day at Gresham Ford
our employees try to live up to this code. Recently they won a contest for Customer Service and I just wanted to publicly thank them for their efforts!  However, at the end of the day, it is our Customer’s that deserve our continued thanks and appreciation for allowing us to serve them! In recognition of that fact and in celebration of our win – we are having a Customer Appreciation Luncheon (11:30a.m.-2:00 p.m.) on August 20, 2010. Everyone please put this date on your calendar.
