For over 50 years, full-size van owners in North America have depended on Ford E-Series. The all-new 2015 Transit redefines the commercial van with a new level of efficiency, dependability and functionality. The advantages of the all new Ford Transit over the previous E-Series work van are substantial. First the Transit offers a wider range of cargo capacity choices, including up to 75% more cargo volume on long wheelbase extended-length (LWB EL) Van compared to E-Series. Many of the previous Dodge Sprinter owners will greatly appreciate the new expanded size of the Ford Transit work van. The extended van version of the new Ford Transit offers greater payload capacity. The gross vehicle weight ratings (GVWR) range from 8550 lbs. up to 10,360 lbs. While the maximum payload capacity of up to 4650 lbs., thats 300 to 600 lbs. more payload capacity than
E-Series Vans with the same GVWR. Gresham Ford Fleet is very excited about having a large full size van that even a tall man can stand and walk thru the van from the drivers seat.
